The worst performers were Jabil Circuit Inc (NYSE:) which was down 16.42% to 123.24 in late trade, Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:) which lost 13.67% to settle at 492.46 and Ulta Beauty Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 5.21% to 535.98 at the close.
The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were VERB TECHNOLOGY COMPANY INC (NASDAQ:) which rose 215.86% to 0.44, Geron Corporation (NASDAQ:) which was up 92.00% to settle at 3.36 and LianBio ADR (NASDAQ:) which gained 83.05% to close at 0.35.
The worst performers were C3is Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 64.18% to 0.03 in late trade, Immuneering Corp (NASDAQ:) which lost 34.14% to settle at 1.91 and Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 30.71% to 12.59 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1598 to 1239 and 98 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1842 rose and 1544 declined, while 109 ended unchanged.
