biedexmarkets.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the were Harel (TASE:), which rose 4.16% or 121.00 points to trade at 3,033.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:) added 1.41% or 410.00 points to end at 29,510.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) was up 0.77% or 80.00 points to 10,430.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 4.58% or 217.00 points to trade at 4,526.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) declined 2.62% or 56.00 points to end at 2,081.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.57% or 68.00 points to 2,582.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 273 to 176 and 88 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.94% or 0.72 to $77.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.48% or 0.39 to hit $82.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 6.15 to trade at $2,050.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.10% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.16% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 103.40.
