If you accidentally break the screen on your Pixel Watch, your best option is to replace it rather than repair the cracked screen.
Google confirmed this week that it currently doesn’t have a repair program in place for the Pixel Watch’s screen, even though iFixit notes a repair for the device is technically possible.
“At this moment, we don’t have any repair option for the Google Pixel Watch. If your watch is damaged, you can contact the Google Pixel Watch Customer Support Team to check your replacement options,” Google tells The Verge.
Google noted that its device warranty for the Pixel Watch does not apply to damage that is caused by things like normal wear and tear, accidents, and neglect. It also doesn’t offer any sort of extended warranty on the Pixel Watch, so there’s not an option of any kind for accident-prone Pixel Watch owners who want to keep the screen protected as well.
Earlier this week, iFixit started offering repair kits for the Google Pixel Tablet, which allows customers to make their own repairs to the tablet if it gets damaged. iFixit provides the parts for the repair and a guide for customers walking them through how to make the fix on their own.
