biedexmarkets.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.97%, while the index added 1.00%, and the index gained 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the were Vonovia SE (ETR:), which rose 5.12% or 1.17 points to trade at 24.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) added 4.20% or 0.52 points to end at 12.91 and Merck KGaA (ETR:) was up 3.00% or 4.80 points to 164.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:), which fell 2.37% or 2.36 points to trade at 97.28 at the close. Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (ETR:) declined 1.98% or 1.38 points to end at 68.26 and Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR:) was down 1.46% or 1.42 points to 95.92.
The top performers on the MDAX were Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which rose 5.49% to 12.00, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was up 5.01% to settle at 30.91 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 4.22% to close at 22.72.
The worst performers were Rational AG (ETR:) which was down 2.00% to 611.00 in late trade, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which lost 1.42% to settle at 83.44 and Talanx AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.32% to 63.65 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which rose 5.49% to 12.00, United Internet AG NA (ETR:) which was up 4.52% to settle at 19.87 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 4.22% to close at 22.72.
The worst performers were Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which was down 1.42% to 83.44 in late trade, Kontron AG (ETR:) which lost 1.03% to settle at 18.26 and Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which was down 0.47% to 212.50 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 424 to 212 and 100 ended unchanged.

EUR/USD was down 0.76% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 104.96.
