Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.25% By biedexmarkets.com

biedexmarkets.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.25%.

The best performers of the session on the were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 0.92% or 5.50 points to trade at 606.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 0.80% or 6.90 points to end at 867.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was up 0.49% or 0.70 points to 142.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 2.22% or 8.70 points to trade at 383.30 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:) declined 2.14% or 7.00 points to end at 320.80 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was down 1.73% or 3.20 points to 181.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) rose to all time highs; rising 0.92% or 5.50 to 606.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.53% or 0.46 to $87.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.68% or 0.62 to hit $91.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 37.35 to trade at $2,345.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 104.09.
